Her er, hvad der sker trin for trin: <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>EPIRB aktiveret  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I en n\u00f8dsituation aktiveres EPIRB enten manuelt (Kat. 2) eller automatisk (Kat. 1), n\u00e5r den neds\u00e6nkes i vand (afh\u00e6ngigt af model og beslagtype).<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GNSS-stilling erhvervet\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>EPIRB&#8217;ens indbyggede GNSS-modtager (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS eller BeiDou) bestemmer din pr\u00e6cise position, typisk inden for 100 meter.<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>406Mhz n\u00f8dalarm sendt\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fyret sender et digitalt n\u00f8dsignal p\u00e5 406 MHz, der indeholder dets unikke identifikationsnummer og, hvis tilg\u00e6ngeligt, dine GNSS-koordinater.<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cospas-Sarsat-satellitterne modtager signalet\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>N\u00f8dmeldingen registreres af det internationale Cospas-Sarsat satellitsystem, som videresender alarmen til jordstationer over hele verden.<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Redningskoordinationscenter underrettet\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Det n\u00e6rmeste redningskoordinationscenter (RCC) modtager alarmen, tilg\u00e5r dine beacon-registreringsoplysninger og begynder at koordinere redningsaktioner.<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00e6rliggende fart\u00f8jer advaret via AIS (AIS-aktiverede EPIRB&#8217;er)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>EPIRB&#8217;er udstyret med AIS sender samtidig et lokalt AIS-n\u00f8dsignal, s\u00e5 fart\u00f8jer i n\u00e6rheden kan navigere direkte til din position.<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Red aktiver hjem med en pejlemaskine ved hj\u00e6lp af 121,5 MHz\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>N\u00e5r redningsfly eller -fart\u00f8jer n\u00e6rmer sig, bruger de EPIRB&#8217;s 121,5 MHz-m\u00e5ls\u00f8gende signal og visuelle strobelys til at bestemme din n\u00f8jagtige placering og fuldf\u00f8re redningen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>Moderne n\u00f8dberedskabssystemer (EPIRB&#8217;er) med AIS og Return Link Service (RLS) kan yderligere forbedre redningstiderne ved at advare fart\u00f8jer i n\u00e6rheden og bekr\u00e6fte, at din n\u00f8dmelding er modtaget af efters\u00f8gnings- og redningsmyndighederne.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hvad er r\u00e6kkevidden og\/eller positionsn\u00f8jagtigheden af en EPIRB?<\/h2>\n\n<p>N\u00e5r den er aktiveret, sender en EPIRB dit n\u00f8dsignal via satellit til det globale Cospas-Sarsat-netv\u00e6rk. EPIRB&#8217;er udstyret med en GNSS\/GPS-modtager giver positionsn\u00f8jagtighed, typisk inden for 100 meter, hvilket hj\u00e6lper redningscentraler med at bestemme din position hurtigt og pr\u00e6cist. For endnu st\u00f8rre pr\u00e6cision i den sidste fase af redningen sender AIS-aktiverede EPIRB&#8217;er ogs\u00e5 din position via VHF til n\u00e6rliggende AIS-udstyrede fart\u00f8jer og SAR-hold &#8211; ofte med en n\u00f8jagtighed p\u00e5 inden for 10 meter. Derudover sender EPIRB&#8217;er et 121,5 MHz m\u00e5ls\u00f8gende signal, som redningsfly eller -b\u00e5de kan spore.
