Med tiden identificerede regulatorer to voksende problemer: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>AIS-kanaloverbelastning<\/strong> &#8211; AIS-kanal 1 og 2 er prim\u00e6rt beregnet til skibstrafik og sikkerhedsrelateret kommunikation. Imidlertid begyndte et stigende antal autonome maritime radioenheder (AMRD&#8217;er), s\u00e5som fiskeredskabsmark\u00f8rer og AIS-beacons, at oversv\u00f8mme netv\u00e6rket med signaler. Dette gav anledning til bekymring for, at kritiske navigationsdata kunne blive sv\u00e6rere at opdage eller prioritere.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Begr\u00e6nset alarmfunktion<\/strong> &#8211; Tidligere AIS-baserede MOB-enheder var afh\u00e6ngige af, at n\u00e6rliggende fart\u00f8jer bem\u00e6rkede AIS-m\u00e5let p\u00e5 deres plotter. I travle eller stressende situationer kunne denne alarm g\u00e5 ubem\u00e6rket hen. Ved at kr\u00e6ve Digital Selective Calling (DSC) n\u00f8dalarmer sikrer Klasse M-standarden, at VHF-radioer i n\u00e6rheden afgiver en h\u00f8rbar alarm, hvilket \u00f8ger chancen for, at n\u00f8dsituationen genkendes med det samme, betydeligt.    <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Selvom Ocean Signal MOB1 har indbygget DSC-n\u00f8dalarmering (den indeholder en DSC-sender), indeholder den ikke en DSC-modtager (hvilket g\u00f8r MOB1 ikke-Klasse M-kompatibel). Baseret p\u00e5 Klasse M-reguleringen, der tr\u00e5dte i kraft den 1. januar 2025, introducerede Ocean Signal MOB2 p\u00e5 det tidspunkt for at have en Klasse M AIS MOB-mulighed tilg\u00e6ngelig. Svaret varierer afh\u00e6ngigt af landet, men den overordnede tendens er mod fuld overholdelse af Klasse M. I flere europ\u00e6iske lande kan enheder, der ikke er i overensstemmelse med Klasse M, ikke l\u00e6ngere s\u00e6lges eller licenseres, og i nogle tilf\u00e6lde er deres brug allerede forbudt. (Det beviser ikke, at der ikke findes nogen, bare at de ikke dukker op i offentlige meddelelser fra myndighederne eller i almindelig b\u00e5dd\u00e6kning.) <\/p>\n\n<p>I Storbritannien, p\u00e5 tidspunktet for den f\u00f8rste udgivelse af denne blog (marts 2026), angiver Office of Communications (Ofcom) hjemmeside, at licenshavere kan forts\u00e6tte med at bruge ikke-klasse M MOB-enheder p\u00e5 AIS 1 &amp; AIS 2 efter 31. december 2024 i henhold til Ship Radio License \/ Ship Portable Radio License, mens Ofcom frems\u00e6tter forslag om at udfase denne tilladelse. ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ofcom.org.uk\/spectrum\/radio-equipment\/licensing-updates?\">www.ofcom.org.uk<\/a> ).<\/p>\n\n<p>Det betyder, at du ikke skal bekymre dig om eksisterende udstyr i Storbritannien, men nye k\u00f8b b\u00f8r v\u00e6re i klasse M for at v\u00e6re fremtidssikrede. ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yachtingworld.com\/yachts-and-gear\/what-the-m-class-ais-beacons-get-a-new-rulebook-158070?\">Yachting World<\/a> )<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;Det handler om at beskytte AIS-kanaler mod overbelastning.&#8221;<\/strong>  Mange i branchen n\u00e6vner fremkomsten af \u200b\u200bikke-n\u00f8dsignalgivende AIS-sendere &#8220;off-ship&#8221; (mark\u00f8rer osv.) og behovet for at holde AIS p\u00e5lidelig af hensyn til sikkerhed og navigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;Kanal 2006 er kontroversiel, fordi den ikke rutinem\u00e6ssigt overv\u00e5ges.&#8221;<\/strong> Et centralt diskussionspunkt er, at Kanal 2006 (160,900 MHz) \u2013 der bruges til andre AMRD-kategorier \u2013 ikke vil blive overv\u00e5get af generelle skibs-\/kyststationer som en del af GMDSS, hvilket er grunden til, at Klasse M (AIS 1\/2 + DSC 70) ses som den &#8220;rigtige&#8221; MOB-rute. ( <a href=\"https:\/\/docdb.cept.org\/download\/4055?\">docdb.cept.org<\/a> )<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;Der er stadig forvirring \u2013 is\u00e6r omkring, hvor reglerne g\u00e6lder, og hvad der sker med \u00e6ldre enheder.&#8221;<\/strong> Is\u00e6r den britiske samtale har drejet sig om Ofcoms overgangsposition (fortsat brug under licens nu, forslag om udfasning), hvilket har reduceret &#8220;panik&#8221;, men \u00f8get sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5lene om &#8220;hvad skal jeg pr\u00e6cist k\u00f8be n\u00e6ste gang?&#8221;.
