Free Replacement Battery Program
Program valid only for purchases made in Europe by authorized customers (at the discretion of Ocean Signal) between the dates of October 15th and December 31st, 2026. The form below must be completed and submitted using the “Submit” button at the end of the form. Once submitted, the form must be approved by Ocean Signal and eligible participants will be sent a free battery certificate. As requested in the form, a picture of the original sales receipt (or email receipt confirmation) and picture of the product label containing the Serial Number will need to be included with your digital submission to be eligible for the program. Terms & Conditions
1. Program Scope
The Ocean Signal free battery replacement program (the “Program”) applies only to qualifying Ocean Signal and ACR products purchased in Europe between the dates of October 15, 2026 and December 31st, 2026. Qualifying products are as follows:
Ocean Signal:
PLB1 (730S-01261), PLB3 (732S-03668), MOB2 (744S-05485), EPIRB1/EPIRB1 Pro (702S-01540/702S-03401), EPIRB2/EPIRB2 Pro (702S-04217/702S-04218), EPIRB3/EPIRB3 Pro (702S-03932/702S-03933).
ACR:
PLB-400/410/425/435 (2921/2931/2922/2932), GlobalFix V5 Cat I/Cat II (2851/2852), GlobalFix V6 Cat I/Cat II (2853/2854). NOTE: For ACR products, as long as the first 4 digits of the p/n match the 4-digit part numbers referenced above, the product is eligible under this offer.
Except as expressly set forth in these Program terms and conditions, all products, services, and transactions remain subject to the standard terms and conditions of sale of ACR Electronics, Inc. and/or Ocean Signal Ltd.
2. Eligible Benefit
For each eligible product, one (1) replacement battery or battery pack only will be provided at no charge at the product’s designated five (5) year, seven (7) year, or ten (10) year battery replacement or expiry interval, as applicable to the specific model. Each eligible device is entitled to one (1) free replacement battery during its applicable scheduled battery replacement cycle under the Program.
3. Covered Items; Exclusion of Service Costs
The Program covers the replacement battery or battery pack only. All labor, battery replacement service, inspection, testing, certification, programming, diagnostics, shipping, transportation, handling, taxes, duties, and any other charges or fees associated with submission, servicing, or return of the product are solely the responsibility of the product owner. For the avoidance of doubt, a free replacement battery does not include free battery replacement service.
4. Authorized Service Requirement
Battery replacement for Ocean Signal products must be performed by a participating Ocean Signal Authorized Battery Replacement Center or Ocean Signal Authorized Service Center and battery replacement for ACR products must be performed by a participating ACR Authorized Battery Replacement Center or ACR Authorized Service Center, if and to the extent required for the applicable product. Ocean Signal reserves the right to deny Program eligibility for any product serviced, opened, altered, or repaired by any unauthorized person or facility.
5. Eligibility and Registration
Eligibility under the Program requires submission of original proof of purchase from an authorized Ocean Signal dealer or reseller. To qualify, the product must also have been registered with Ocean Signal within ninety (90) days after the original purchase date, unless otherwise expressly approved by Ocean Signal in writing. Eligibility will be determined by Ocean Signal in its sole discretion based on the product serial number, date of manufacture, original purchase date, registration records, and any other information reasonably requested to validate the claim. The serial number listed on the Free Battery Certificate that eligible participants will receive must match the serial number on the product which is receiving a battery replacement. The Free Battery Certificate must be provided to the authorized Dealer or Battery Replacement Center along with the applicable product in order to receive the free battery.
6. Claim Period
The free replacement battery must be claimed during the period beginning six (6) months prior to and ending twelve (12) months following the applicable scheduled battery replacement or expiry date for the product. Any claim submitted outside of such period may be denied.
7. Original Purchaser; Non-Transferable
The Program is available only to the original registered purchaser of the eligible product and is non-transferable. Products acquired second-hand or through any subsequent resale, transfer, auction, liquidation, or other non-authorized channel are not eligible unless Ocean Signal expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
8. Serviceable Condition Requirement
As a condition to receiving a free replacement battery, the product must be in serviceable condition and must be capable of successfully completing all applicable inspection, testing, certification, and service requirements. If inspection reveals damage, corrosion, water intrusion, failed electronics, antenna damage, housing deterioration, excessive wear, contamination, missing parts, evidence of tampering, or any other condition requiring repair, refurbishment, replacement components, or additional service, the cost of such work is not included in the Program and shall be the sole responsibility of the product owner.
9. Excluded Damage and Causes
Without limiting the foregoing, products may be excluded from the Program if damaged or adversely affected by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper storage, improper installation, unauthorized modification, improper servicing, exposure to environmental or operating conditions outside published product specifications, or other causes not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship.
10. End of Service Life
Ocean Signal reserves the right to exclude from the Program any product that has reached the end of its service life, has been declared obsolete, is no longer supported, cannot be safely or economically serviced, or for which required parts, approvals, or service capabilities are no longer reasonably available.
11. Battery Availability and Substitution
If the original battery or battery pack for an eligible product is no longer available, Ocean Signal may, in its sole discretion, provide an equivalent approved replacement, where technically feasible and legally permissible. If no such replacement is available, Ocean Signal shall have no further obligation under the Program.
12. No Cash Value; No Combination with Other Offers
The free replacement battery provided under the Program has no cash value, is not redeemable for cash or credit, may not be exchanged for any other product or service, and may not be applied toward unrelated repairs, service charges, or other amounts owed. The Program may not be combined with any other battery replacement promotion, rebate, credit, discount, or similar offer unless specifically authorized by Ocean Signal in writing.
13. Geographic Availability; Transportation
Program availability may vary by country or territory and is subject to the availability of authorized service centers, transportation and hazardous goods regulations, applicable product approvals, import/export requirements, and local laws and regulations. The owner is solely responsible for transportation of the product to and from the authorized service location unless otherwise expressly stated by Ocean Signal in writing.
14. Authorized Service Center Charges
Authorized service centers are independently owned and operated and may charge their standard rates and fees for labor, inspection, testing, certification, handling, shipping coordination, disposal, and other related services. Ocean Signal is not responsible for the pricing, turnaround time, or separate charges imposed by any authorized service center.
15. Modification, Suspension; Final Determination Ocean Signal reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program at any time, with or without prior notice, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law; provided, however, that any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance shall not affect valid claims for qualifying products purchased while the Program was in effect and submitted in accordance with the applicable Program requirements then in force. Ocean Signal’s determination of eligibility and compliance with these Program terms and conditions shall be final, subject to applicable law.

Take a picture of the applicable label on your product and upload it as part of the submission form on this page. If a picture of the serial number label and a picture of the original sales receipt (or email receipt confirmation) are not uploaded, the participant submitting the form will not be eligible for the Free Battery Replacement program.
